Panorama 32 is an unobtrusive, but powerful and flexible, Wallpaper Manager for Windows 95 and Windows NT.
- Support for JPEG, GIF and PNG files! Use JPEG, GIF and PNG files as wallpaper.
- Change your wallpaper at any interval--from every second up to every 24 hours.
- Runs in the Explorer's Tray Notification Area (The System Tray). If you want it to, of course.
- The wallpaper may be changed in random or sequential order.
- You can choose to automatically tile small bitmaps.
- Automatically search your hard disk for image files.
- Supports MS Plus! scaling.

Panorama 32. The downloaded file (panorama.zip), is a compressed file, and needs
to be unpacked with PKUNZIP or WinZip. Once the file is decompressed,
you can install Panorama 32 by executing setup.exe.

I welcome all comments regarding Panorama 32 or my web pages. Please send e-mail to: shaun (at) ivory.org. If you believe you've found a bug, follow this procedure:
- Make sure you've got the latest version.
- Include the program version and compile date (Help|About... dialog box)
- Is the bug reproducible? Always, sometimes? If so, please include a complete list of the steps needed to reproduce it.
- Does it require specific data, for example: a certain picture? If so, send it as a MIME attachment.
I can't promise to answer every e-mail, fix all bugs, and implement every
requested feature, but I'll do my best. Remember: Panorama 32 is free and
is officially completely unsupported. Plaintive or strident complaints are cheerfully ignored.

| FAQs and Known Bugs |
- Bug: Extremely rare: Program hangs when the File menu is displayed.
- Workaround:
- Exit Panorama 32
- Select Run from the "Start" menu
- Press the Browse button
- Browse to the Panorama 32 folder (usually C:\Program Files\Panorama)
- Select "Panorama.exe" from the browse dialog
- Press the Open button
- Add a space and -x to the end of the command in the Run dialog (It should now look like this: "C:\Program Files\Panorama\Panorama.exe" -x)
- Press the OK button
- Select the Options|Preferences menu item from Panorama 32
- On the first property page, make sure File menu banner is NOT selected
- Exit Panorama 32
- Start Panorama 32 as you normally would, it should now work fine
- Bug: When the wallpaper changes during a full-screen DirectX game session, the wallpaper may not be centered correctly, or the game's palette may be corrupted.
- Workaround:
- Manually suspend Panorama 32 before starting your game.
- FAQ: Does Panorama 32 work under Windows 98?
- Yes. Make sure you have the latest version, though.
- Bug: There is no way to stretch some images without distortion.
- Workaround:
- There is no work around. Panorama 32 relies on a feature of MS Plus! (which is built into some versions of Windows) to provide image scaling. MS Plus! does not provide scaling which preserves the aspect ratio of the original image.
- FAQ: "Panorama stopped rotating images"
- You've probably accidentally selected "Suspend" from the "Options" menu. Select "Resume" from the Options menu.
